I have unzipped into the C: so the glassfish server will be under C:glassfish3 directory.

Just download the zip file and unzip it anywhere you want to. This will not work out of the box (officially Oracle only supports GlassFish on RedHat 4 and 5 not on version 6).

The new specification process is a replacement for the Java Community Process (JCP) used to develop the Java EE specification through Java EE 8. This is described in the GlassFish forum and in the Flex 2 General Discussion forum.
